Damaged Visions was the outcome of time travelling in Eastern Europe with Warner Wada, visiting several concentration camps, an artist festival, and Sighet, Romania, the town where my mother was born. It is a mourning for family who died in the Shoah, especially my grandfather, who I am named after. I edited the tape during the Gulf War, which became a subtext through the project.
