The first part of Numbering Numbers was recorded in Hiroshima during peace day rituals at its ground zero. At night, survivors and their families launch paper lanterns, lit from within by candles, on the rivers, each representing a victim.

A note on collaboration- Christen Clark, who composed and performed the music, and I have been partners on diverse projects for 20 years. He lives in Paris, France and we worked together using the internet.
