Promised Land is in the form of a letter from a man who left the Island farm of his youth to live in NYC to his brother who remained on the farm. At the time, my brother was living on a farm in Israel. This video is haunted now by its images of the World Trade Center swaying in an electronic haze through fires recorded from Jersey City. The man describes some of his life and remembers his origins.
